INTEGRITY of AYURVEDA
There exists two kinds of thoughts based on philosophical point of view, the first being theistic (the one who believe in god /astik) and other one being atheistic (those who don’t believe/nastik). On this classification three views were kept forward by scholars.
- The first was given by Panini: Person who believes in rebirth stated as theist.
- Manu: The one who follow veda is Theist while the ones who don’t are atheistic.
- School of Patanjala Yoga: The people who accept the fact that god exists in the world is atheist, while the other are called Athestic.
Horizons of Ayurveda
As, we have told you already that Ayurveda not only deals with the physical well being of the individual but covers each and every aspect of basic well being which makes the individual physically, mentally and socially fit.
It not only deals with the individual health but with everybody around the world (our surrounding environment) , thus Ayurveda is concerned with social and personal lives. The basic fundamental of Ayurveda is not to treatment the disease but the Individual himself. The science is not only concerned with the ill being but it helps to maintain the positive emphasis on the maintaining the good health of a healthy individual.
But, there are sometimes when we face problem even in small and basic habit of the day like Geriatrics, in hunger and thirst, appear in the organic way. Senses too play a very major role for the urges like micturation, hunger, thirst, defection etc. are suppressed.
So, let me ask you a question now? Do you have any doubt in the answer that Ayurveda has a huge scope and is vast than our knowledge and thinking.
